Practice handwriting through tracing upper and lower case letters. Sequence letters correctly – start on the dot and follow the arrow for the First Stroke. Perfect for preschool centers! Easy set up! Cut large letter pages in 1/2 . Or cut the smaller letter pages into 1/8’s for quick set up for multiple use centers. Upper and lower case letters – 26 large and 26 small pages for lower case, and 26 large and 26 small pages for upper case. 26 a – z words for generalized writing.

This file is perfect for unsupervised centers, where students do independent practice. Simple because all they have to do is put the pencil on the black starting point (dot) and follow the first arrow. If a student writes a letter with the first stroke correct, the student is more likely to form the rest of the letter correct! It is SO important to teach correct letter sequencing BEFORE incorrect patterns become habitual!

These alphabet tracing activities are perfect for special education work bins. The outline letters tend to be easier than dashed or dotted line letters – allowing students to try to stay within the wider lines when tracing.
