DECEMBER THEMED, TEACH PENCIL GRASP SKILLS, how to hold a pencil! Perfect fine motor centers! This file teaches students HOW to control and manipulate a pencil! Works on getting a dynamic pencil grasp. 27 small printable activities.

Includes training sheets. Pre-K – 1st grade teachers need this file to help students learn to hold a pencil, how to dynamically change direction with a pencil with isolated finger movements versus whole hand or arm movements. Perfect no-prep set-up for fine motor centers.

2 fine motor activities. All designed to teach dynamic pencil skills versus static pencil skills. Dynamic skills involve using the thumb, index and third fingers as a unit to flex and bend to coloring or manipulate a pencil in all planes.

All pages are quick no prep set up. Print, and cut each page into 1/4’s (one file 1/2’s) and place into centers.

Training sheets included to discuss grasp, and HOW to teach a dynamic grasp.
