Differentiated Craft and Writing – Jello Jack-o-lantern

Fun craft – Print or draw a pumpkin.  Spread glue inside. Have the student sprinkle orange powdered Jello on too and then put the extra yellow back into the container.  Add cutouts for the face.

This is just boxes that I created in PowerPoint.   I wrote the word jack-o-lantern in orange highlighter and put a green dot for the starting point. The student traced and copied the word – you can see the cue’s that I gave for letter formation when copying. 

The student is a 7 year old with special needs.   She seemed to love this craft!
