Distance Learning/Teletherapy Fine Motor Packs for Occupational Therapists and Teachers
March 2020. I went on Spring Break. Came back and all the schools were shut down. I had a few kids still coming to the clinic but realized quickly, that Dallas County was going to shut down businesses. I had to think quick – I had a bustling clinic full of kids doing handwriting. I shut down for two weeks and then started tele therapy. 6 months later, most of my business is still teletherapy.
I also began to create material for online. EVERYTHING I had was for the clinic! Luckily I had The Fine Motor Store and lots of curriculum.
I started making The Frazzled OT Packets! Yes, I was frazzled because it would take me SO long to create curriculum to email packets to parents for the teletherapy sessions. I wanted to help my fellow therapists that were in the same situation.
All packets are $6.00. I keep adding packets! Educators and therapists can email the packets to students on their own caseload (may not share with other professionals as they are copyrighted. I am hearing from therapists that they are SO thankful to have some material! Each packet has printable coloring and pencil skill activities, tongs activities printables, scissors skills activities and writing activities. The preview of the products shows ALL of each product – you would have to click on the links to view the previews. There is a substantial amount of fine motor activities in each packet! These packets are what I am using for teletherapy at The Handwriting Clinic! I hope it will save teachers, therapists and parents substantial time!
